  3. Why we get sagging jowls and the treatments available?

When we are young we have beautiful triangular shaped faces, with our plump cheeks at the 2 top points and chin at the bottom. But as we age various thing happen that turn those triangles upside down and the bottom corners become the jowls!

A common cry for help is often “what can I do about my jowls?” or “ I’m starting to look like my mother!

  4. Don’t sweat about it

For many of us sweating is an unglamorous reality, an inconvenience that is masked by roll on day in day out, due to our bodies clever means to regulate our temperature.

We all sweat, in fact we have about 2-4 million sweat glands on our body, that can produce several litres of sweat each day. This might sound a lot, but about 65% of our mass is water. There are two types of glands; eccrine and apocrine glands.

  5. How to lose your man boobs?

With the New Year in full swing people all over the UK simultaneously vow to get in shape in order to obtain that beach body come June/ July. For men this often means losing their ‘moobs’ and beer bellies. Most of us will give up on our resolutions early, while those that persevere often find some areas of their bodies simply do not response, no matter how hard they try in the gym.

  6. CoolSculpting Vs LumiSlim

As the days start to lengthen and we see the sun appearing we know the time is fast approaching when our bodies will be emerging and be on show. Those extra ‘winter pounds’ need to be shed but sometimes they need a bit of extra help.

Liposuction, the removal fat from the body is what is required but more and more people are turning to the non-invasive form which basically means that nothing is injected into the body, nor is the body ‘cut into’ in any way.

  7. How do I treat facial red veins?

  8. Laser teeth whitening explained

In-clinic laser teeth whitening is a simple and effective treatment that is designed to remove years of staining and whiten the teeth to a new sparkling and natural look.
The procedure works by the application of a gel to the enamel that is accelerated to react with the natural mineral in the tooth and whiten by the Beyond Dental system.

  9. Treatments for fat reduction

Non-surgical fat reduction in the form of CoolSculpting means we no longer have to put up with our stubborn fatty areas. A one hour long session will say “good bye” forever to fat cells that subsequently disappear over the next 30-90 days. This short clip from the States explains:

Having been a GP for 22 years I regularly saw patients who had had substandard liposuction. They had undergone a general anaesthetic, suffered a lot of pain, bruising and swelling and the vast majority would not have had the treatment done had they realised the extent of the downtime. CoolSculpting is non-invasive, requires no anaesthetic or constricting garments to be worn after the treatment. Clients often come back for more areas to be treated once they see the dramatic results that are easily achieved.
