Viscoderm Hydrobooster

A hyaluronic acid injectable that reduces wrinkles

£425 for the first treatment £325 for the second

The Problem

Wrinkles, particularly in dynamic areas of the face (areas where there is a lot of movement and expression) especially the forehead, around the mouth, crow’s feet and lower cheeks.

What is Viscoderm Hydrobooster?

Viscoderm hydrobooster is an ultrapure hyaluronic acid made by the makers of Profhilo. It offers dual action to rejuvenate areas of the face that, up until now, have been difficult to treat. It provides deep hydration and tissue restructuring together with a mechanical action to stretch the most superficial wrinkles. It improves elasticity, radiance and smoothness of the skin.

Where can Viscoderm Hydrobooster be used?

Forehead, temples, cheek, eye area, lower cheek, upper lip and chin.

How does Viscoderm Hydrobooster work?

Ultrapure hyaluronic acid hydrates the skin, its “stretching” action smooths wrinkles in a precise and natural way.

The Viscoderm Hydrobooster treatment:

A numbing cream is applied to the face to make the treatment comfortable.
Micro droplets of Viscoderm are injected into the mid-deep dermis and also in lines followed by light massaging of the area.

Results with Viscoderm Hydrobooster:

There is immediate noticeable improvement with ongoing improvement. Two treatments are recommended, two months apart. Statistically significant improvement lasting 6 months or more depending on the skin care regime employed alongside.

Downtime for Viscoderm Hydrobooster

Some slight swelling, redness and bruising will occur so don’t book just before an important event. Dr Ros & Nurse Helen have both had treatments and say, “the downtime was well worth it!”. Ice packs are used to help minimise bruising and we recommend the use of MD Bruise, Oxygentix breathable foundation or a Jane Iredale concealer, all of which are sold at Radiance MediSpa.

Am I suitable for Viscoderm Hydrobooster?

Viscoderm Hydrobooster is an ideal follow on to Profhilo skinbooster and/or alongside our membership collagen treatments.

Dr Ros and Nurse Helen carry out a full facial assessment for anyone considering anti-aging treatments. You will be asked to complete a medical form to rule out any conditions that might contraindicated treatment. Viscoderm is an ultrapure hyaluronic acid (not of animal origin) and is very well tolerated by most people.

Aftercare

As with any injectables it is important to only touch the skin with clean hands thus avoiding infection. Any swelling subsides within a day or so but the bruising may last a week. Our concealers and foundations are great at disguising bruising but it amazing what other people just do not notice. Over the subsequent 8 weeks or more you will see improved results. Using ZO skin care and Skinned supplement drinks will further increase the results.
